The Imo State Government has announced the commencement of the state-level screening exercise for applicants seeking admission into the 91st Regular Recruit Intake of the Nigerian Army.
In a special government announcement signed by Mrs. Nwosu Ndidiamaka R., MCIA, Permanent Secretary (Political), for the Secretary to the Government of Imo State, the government directed all applicants of Imo origin who applied for the recruitment exercise between March 30 and May 17, 2026, to participate in the screening process.
According to the announcement, “the State Level recruitment Screening Exercise has commenced from 9th June and will end on 23rd June, 2026.”
The government stated that the screening exercise is taking place at the 34 Artillery Brigade, Obinze Barracks, Obinze, and applies to all applicants irrespective of whether they were shortlisted.
It further stated that “the applicants, whether shortlisted or not, are requested to appear in person at the 34 Artillery Brigade, Obinze Barracks, from 6 am to 6 pm daily.”
The exercise is scheduled to hold daily throughout the screening period between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Applicants have also been advised to come with all relevant credentials, Bank Verification Number (BVN) printouts, National Identification Number (NIN) printouts, and passport photographs.
The government specifically instructed prospective recruits to appear with “all your credentials, BVN and NIN printouts, and passport photographs.”
The Imo State Government urged all eligible applicants to take advantage of the screening opportunity and ensure full compliance with the requirements to facilitate a smooth screening process.
