Courtesy visit by the Kaduna State Chapter of CNG to NDLEA, Kaduna State Command
The Kaduna State Chapter of the Coalition of Northern Groups (CNG) has vowed to collaborate with National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in its fight against drug abuse in the state.
A delegation, led by State Coordinator, Comrade Sanusi Ali Mohammed, comprised of executive members and Zonal Coordinator Comrade Sa’ad Bako made the assertion during a courtesy visit to the State Command of the NDLEA Tuesday, December 3, 2024.
The CNG Coordinator emphasized that the visit aimed to foster collaboration between the CNG and NDLEA in combating drug abuse and related offenses.
He said the partnership would strengthen efforts to eradicate the menace.
Hajiya Ladi Fatima Garba, Director of Women Affairs for the CNG, while commending the NDLEA’s sensitization campaigns, she called for wider outreach especially to women in communities across the State.
Also the Zonal Coordinator of CNG Comrade Sa’ad Bako in his remarks, reaffirmed the CNG’s commitment to supporting the NDLEA’s initiatives.
Responding, DSN Muhammad Ibrahim of the NDLEA, assured the group of open communication channels for future collaborations and expressed gratitude for their visit and contributions to combating drug crimes, ultimately reducing insecurity.
“The meeting marked a significant step towards strengthening partnerships between community organizations and law enforcement agencies in addressing the pressing issue of drug abuse in Kaduna State”, he stated.
