BREAKING: Court disqualifies Taraba APC governorship candidate

Disqualified Taraba APC guber candidate Sani Danladi

A Federal High Court sitting in Jalingo, capital of Taraba State, on Wednesday disqualified the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state, Mr. Sani Danladi.

Mr. Danladi was disqualified over an improper declaration of age.

With this development, the APC candidate is barred from participating in the governorship and state assembly elections scheduled to hold this Saturday, March 9, 2019, thus paving the way for the re-election of Governor Darius Ishaku of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
