The spirited attempt by the candidate of the Action Congress of Nigeria (APC) in the November 16, 17 and 30, 2013 Anambra governorship election, Senator Chris Ngige, Comrade Tony Nwoye of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) factional aspirant, Dr. Chike Obidigbo, to unseat Governor Willie Obiano has collapsed like a pack of cards.

Chief Obiano of APGA was the only one among the contenders left smiling as the Anambra State Governorship Election Tribunal sitting in the state capital Awka finally rendered judgement in the matter.

The tribunal headed by Justice Ishaq Bello upheld Obiano’s victory, declaring him the validly elected Governor of Anambra State.
