Senator Uche Ekwunife over the weekend expressed deep sorrow over the death of an All Progressives Congress, APC chieftain, Chief Ossy Ezenwa popularly known as Nnanyelugo Abagana, Njikoka Local Government Area, of Anambra State, who passed away on Friday.
He described his death as a significant loss to Anambra State and the political community.
Ekwunife in a condolence message signed by her Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Tony Ezike paid glowing tribute to late Ezenwa.
She described the former Secretary to the Anambra State Government as a distinguished son of Abagana who devoted his life to public service and community development.
Ekwunife said: "Ezenwa was a man of integrity, wisdom, and unwavering commitment to the growth of the state. His legacy of selfless service and principled leadership would continue to inspire generations.
"He played a vital role as a respected stakeholder in the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Njikoka Local Government Area, where his counsel, experience, and stabilising influence were highly valued.
"His death leaves a void in both political and community circles. I pray for the peaceful repose of his soul."
Ekwunife further extended her heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, praying that God grants them the strength to bear the loss and comfort in the impactful life he lived.
She further sympathised with the leadership and members of the APC in Njikoka LGA, describing the late Ezenwa as one of the party’s finest pillars whose contributions will be sorely missed.
