Dangote Petroleum Refinery & Petrochemicals has reaffirmed that the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly known as petrol, remains unchanged, allaying concerns over possible volatility in Nigeria’s downstream petroleum market.
A source within the company disclosed that its current pricing structure is still in effect, with the gantry price fixed at N1,200 per litre, while the coastal price stands at N1,153 per litre.
“We are maintaining our existing price and have not implemented any new pricing for our customers,” the source said.
The clarification comes amid speculation about potential adjustments in fuel prices, which have raised anxiety among consumers and industry stakeholders.
The source further stressed that the refinery remains committed to ensuring consistent supply of refined petroleum products, not only within Nigeria but across the African market.
According to the source, the company’s priority is to sustain product availability and contribute to market stability, reinforcing its strategic role in the region’s energy supply chain. (Arise News)
