The International Society for Civil Liberties and Rule of Law (Intersociety) has unveiled three graphic tables illustrating what it described as the scale and patterns of killings, abductions and displacement linked to violent attacks across Nigeria.
In a statement signed by Emeka Umeagbalasi, Chidinma Evangeline Udegbunam, and Obianuju Joy Igboeli, the group said the visual data presentations were developed to simplify its recent report and make its findings more accessible to the public, policymakers, and international observers.
According to the organisation, the first table presents a continental outlook, analysing threats to an estimated 750 million Christians in Africa, with projections spanning 50 to 100 years.

The second table focuses on Nigeria, detailing figures on those killed and abducted between July 2009 and March 2026, alongside data on destroyed churches, displaced communities, and affected regions.
The third table, it added, narrows the scope to developments within the first 78 days of 2026, capturing recent incidents, casualty figures, and abduction trends across various states.
“Intersociety has successfully created and added three graphic tables—with less than five minutes viewing timeframe—designed to explain the dangerous situation and the magnitude of the crisis,” the statement said.
The group noted that the visual tools also highlight the number of internally displaced persons (IDPs), refugees, and communities uprooted over the years, as well as the geographical spread of attacks.

It further stated that the tables were intended to support advocacy efforts by providing a clearer picture of what it described as persistent violence affecting civilians in different parts of the country.
The organisation urged stakeholders, including government institutions and international partners, to study the data and take “urgent, evidence-based steps” to address the security situation and humanitarian concerns raised in the report.
