Comr Lucky OO Ukueku
By LUCKY O.O UKUEKU
To the esteemed Royal Fathers and Community Leaders of Urhobo Land,
I, Comr. Lucky O.O Ukueku, National President of Niger Delta Youth For Good Governance, extend my appreciation to the leadership of Urhobo Progressive Union (UPU), led by High Chief Ese Gam, and the Urhobo Youth Wing, led by Snr. Comr. Activist Blessed Ughere. I also commend the leadership of Urhobo Ex-agitators, led by Hon. Gen. Sylvester Ebirie HM.
A Call for Unity
Dear sons and daughters of Urhobo Land, I urge you to look inward and recognize that our community’s problems stem from internal divisions and lack of unity. Instead of tearing each other down, we should celebrate our achievements and work together to build a brighter future.
In Support of the Mayor
I want to emphasize that the Head of Association of Urhobo Mayoral Family Crown, His Excellency Eshanekpe Israel Akpodoro, has made significant contributions to the community and deserves celebration for his achievements. I appeal to our Royal Fathers, UPU, and the Youth Wing to work with him, as going against him would be counterproductive.
Celebrating Our Own
Let’s put aside our differences and unite to build a stronger Urhobo Nation. We should encourage and celebrate our sons and daughters’ growth, rather than seeing it as a threat. I believe that by working together and supporting one another, we can bring more development to our community.
As a proud son of Urhobo Land and the first elected Executive National President of Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP) Scholarship Students Worldwide, I feel that I deserve recognition and celebration. It’s time for us to value and celebrate our own achievements.
Conclusion
I’m surprised that many prominent Urhobo sons and daughters were not invited to the recent Igela 2 years anniversary. I hope that in the future, we can work together to ensure that all deserving individuals are recognized and celebrated.
Let’s work with the Mayor to bring more development to Urhobo Nation and celebrate our achievements.
