I will fix Anambra’s security issues in 4 months if elected governor — ADC’s Nwosu

John Nwosu, ADC candidate in the forthcoming Anambra guber election

By PAMELA EBOH, Awka

The Governorship candidate of the All Democratic Congress, ADC, John Nwosu, has given four months’ timeline as the period it will take his government to nip insecurity in the board if he wins the November 8 governorship election on Anambra State.

He stated this while addressing members of the Anglican Church Knights in Nnewi on Monday, saying that such feat would be achieved by deploying HiTech security infrastructure;

Nwosu said that he will also strengthen the school curriculum by funding STEM education that will make school. Children globally competitive;

He said: "My administration shall make 100% efforts to give Nnewi 24 hours non-stop electricity. We shall upgrade our markets and deploy e- commerce infrastructures to our traders and manufacturers.

"I will streamline existing tax regime and put an immediate end to the use of touts and thugs for revenue collection. We will introduce automated payment system that is transparent, fair and safe; and

"We will enhance the Emergency Medical response system to make for quick, efficient and accessible Health care delivery

The governorship hopeful further urged Knights of Nnewi Diocese to continue to lead in evangelism, mentorship, and support for the Church’s mission.

While praying God to bless them and their families, he stressed that the calling of a Knight in the Church is a sacred responsibility—to uphold the faith, defend the truth of the Gospel, and live out Christ’s values in our families, Church, and society.

"I commend your steadfastness in these times when the Church and our moral values face many challenges.

"As St. Paul said, Stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong. Do everything in love. Let your lives and service reflect integrity, humility, and a heart for others. Be shining examples of unity, peace, and sacrificial love, especially for the youths and the vulnerable.

"Before I close my brief remarks, permit me to share a few nuggets of my vision for Anambra. As a matter of priority."
