Top Nigerian artistes including Johnny Drille, Faze, Slowdog, Skido, and Stoner Nwaigbo are set to perform at the Une-50 and His Eagle’s Concert, a climate-themed music event scheduled for Friday in Abuja.

The initiative is organised by House of Structure, a firm led by Abuja-based lawyer, Ugochukwu Uneabunso, with Amudi Chioma Felistas serving as technical advisor, the concert forms part of a two-part programme that also includes the Nigerian Music Industry Summit and Showcase, holding earlier in the day.

Themed “The Role of Nigerian Artistes in Promoting Climate Action and Revolutionizing Revenue Generation Channels of the Nigerian Music Industry,” the summit is aimed at sparking dialogue among music stakeholders on pressing environmental issues and sustainable industry practices.

“This is not just about entertainment.

“We are using this platform to bring attention to serious issues such as climate change, while also discussing sustainable ways the music industry can grow and benefit artistes,” said Uneabunso in a statement issued on Sunday.

He added that the evening concert is designed to offer a unique mix of entertainment and purpose.

“We want to give people an unforgettable experience while also sparking important conversations within the industry,” he said.

Technical Advisor Amudi Chioma Felistas highlighted the summit’s focus on bridging activism and artistry.

“The morning session is where we bring experts to the table to look at how Nigerian artistes can do more than entertain, how they can lead climate conversations and drive innovation in revenue creation,” she explained.

She noted that the summit would feature keynote speeches and a panel session, while the evening concert would include live music and comedy.

“We’ve carefully selected artistes that cut across different generations and genres to ensure everyone in attendance finds something they connect with,” Felistas added.

Interest in the event is growing, with tickets reportedly selling fast. “We’ve seen encouraging support from stakeholders who are buying tickets in bulk, which shows the level of excitement around the concert,” Uneabunso said.
