Afrobeats artists Damini Ogulu, known as Burna Boy, and Ayo Balogun popularly called Wizkid, have emerged as the most viewed Nigerian musicians on YouTube, using one of their official channels.
According to the data reviewed on YouTube by PUNCH Online on Friday, Burna Boy with @BurnaBoy tops the platform with over 3.32 billion views across 278 videos since launching his channel in January 2018.
Burna Boy’s channel has 5.38 million subscribers, and his regular video output and growing international audience have contributed to his strong online presence.
The ranking considers total video views, number of subscribers, and content volume. It provides an overview of the online reach and audience engagement of Afrobeats artists, with YouTube remaining a key platform for distributing music and generating revenue.
Wizkid’s channel @StarBoyTv is also prominent on YouTube, with 88 videos has over 2.2 billion views

CKay, whose track “Love Nwantiti” gained international popularity, has earned over 1.6 billion views since 2013. His channel, which includes 124 videos, currently has 4.2 million subscribers.
Flavour, a long-standing figure in the Nigerian music scene, has recorded over 1.4 billion views on YouTube since opening his channel in 2011. He has released more than 400 videos and has a subscriber base of 3.67 million.
Kizz Daniel, who joined the platform in 2019, has accumulated more than 1.3 billion views across 255 videos. He currently has 3.39 million subscribers.
PSquare, despite a temporary break from releasing music, maintains a strong showing on YouTube. Their channel, which began in May 2011, has over 1.3 billion views from 104 videos and 2.73 million subscribers.
Tekno has gained over 1.17 billion views with just 48 videos since launching his channel in 2020. His subscriber count currently stands at 2.62 million.
Ayra Starr is the youngest among the top ten. Since starting her channel in January 2021, she has surpassed 1 billion views, supported by 140 videos and 2.6 million subscribers.
