The leadership of the National body of the Kwankwasiyya Coalition of Concern Citizens for Sustainable Development, KCCCSD, has cautioned Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State against what the coalition termed “cabinet cabals.”

This was contained in a statement signed and issued by the coalition’s National Chairman, Comrade Dayyib Hassan Ahmad.

According to the statement, the way and manner that some cabinet members have been going about their duties is not in line with the governor’s effort in ensuring that Kano and its people attain the level of development

It explained that the coalition which was established since 2019 found it worthy to draw the attention of the governor to be wary of some members of his kitchen cabinet.

“It is equally worrisome that people that have laboured for the success of NNPP in Kano are left unattended to, while it is quite apparent that some cabinet members did nothing to contribute to the success of Governor Abba’s administration, they are all out for financial gains and not liberating the people from the bondage they were put into by the previous administration,’ it stated.

The coalition added that while it remains committed to NNPP and the Kwankwasiyya movement, it is important for the governor to do away with those who contributed nothing to the success of his administration. (Daily Trust)
