Sylva seen right at Wednesdays APC caucus meeting in Aso Rock Villa
Former Governor of Bayelsa State and immediate past Minister of State for Petroleum, Chief Timipre Sylva, has led a high powered delegation of the Bayelsa All Progressives Congress (APC) on a condolence visit to the family of the late Pa Edwin Clark in Abuja.
The former governor also led the South-South APC delegation to the party's caucus meeting that held at the Aso Rock Villa, Abuja on Wednesday.
A statement signed by Sylva's Special Assistant on Media and Public Affairs, Chief Julius Bokoru, said the Bayelsa APC Chairman, Chief Dennis Otiotio and Amb. Philip Ikurusi were among the APC leaders on the delegation that visited the Clark's family.
Others that followed Sylva to the condolence visit were members of the APC State Assembly Caucus and Bayelsa APC appointees of the Federal Government.
Sylva, whose delegation was received by Amb. Boladei Igali and the Clark's family, described the death of Pa Clark as a huge loss to the Niger Delta and the country.
"We have lost a father, a mentor and a senior advocate of the oppressed. We will greatly miss him", Sylva said.
The statement further said that Sylva later led a delegation of South South APC to the party caucus meeting that was held at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
