Dr. Dennis Otuaro, the new Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), on Thursday enjoyed a warm reception from leaders of the Delta State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the Amaseikumo Festival held at Oporoza, Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri.
It was all smiles and exchange of pleasantries as Dr. Otuaro met with Elder Omeni Sobotie, Chairman APC, Delta State, and some members of the State Working Committee (SWC) of the party.
The meeting came barely a week after Delta APC dismissed insinuations that Dr. Otuaro was not a member of the party in the state.
Delta APC had declared in a statement that Otuaro is not just a bonafide member of the party but also a key financier and supporter of it.
“We the executive members of APC in Delta South wish to state without equivocation that Chief Dr. Dennis Otuaro, (PhD) is a bonafide (card-carrying) member of our party, the APC, who has made outstanding sacrifices and contributions to the party since 2019. His contribution in the last general election in Delta State cannot be swept away by mischief-makers,” the party had stated.
