A mass grave of at least 65 irregular migrants was found in western Libya.

The mass grave was found in the Shuwairif region, southeast of the capital Tripoli, the Criminal Investigations Department of Libyas Interior Ministry said in a statement on social media.

The teams collected DNA samples from the bodies of unidentified irregular migrants, the statement said.

After the procedures, the bodies were buried in a cemetery designated by the prosecutor's office responsible for the Shuwairif region, it added. (Anadolu Agency)
