The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has described the continuous deployment of soldiers in Ogbaru Local Government Area of Anambra State by Governor Chukwuma Soludo as illegal and a waste of time and resources.

It observed that the governor’s interest is to please his Fulani Masters with claims of chasing away ESN Operatives for political favours.

The group In a statement by its Media and Publicity secretary, Emma Powerful said, “Reports have it that Governor Soludo has given order to the military joint forces to invade Ogbaru LGA of Anambra State, especially Umunankwo,Echeuche, and Osamalla Communities.

“The above named communities have witnessed an influx of murderous Nigeria Military via invitation by Governor Soludo, thinking he will stop IPOB.

“Due to the military invasion of Ogbaru communities, many schools have been closed, and farmers are not able to go to their farms.Governor Soludo and his murderous military have sent Ogbaru children out of school. He will also create hunger in Anambra State and Alaigbo as soldiers are preventing Ogbaru farmers from going to farms as the farming season commences.

“Governor Soludo and his terrorist military are threatening to burn down houses in the community if they don’t inform them about the activities of IPOB/ESN Operatives.Governor Soludo’s terrorist military has burnt down many houses already in Ogbaru.

“We don’t know why some of the acclaimed governors in the East are against ESN for protecting Biafra Land against marauding Fulani jihadist herdmen and bandits.All they do is satisfy their Fulani political Masters in Abuja with the blood of their brothers and sisters who voted them into office.

“The acclaimed Prof. Chukwuma Soludo was among the governors that Ndigbo thought would set an example for other governors to follow.”

IPOB further claimed that Ogbaru Community is calm today because of the assistance of IPOB/ESN, saying that ESN visits Biafra communities to protect people from criminals and Fulani bandits.

It maintained that ESN operatives have never had problems with any community in Biafra land.

The group added: “For Gov. Soludo to deploy the murderous Nigeria Military in the already calmed Ogbaru Community is to provide a cover-up for Fulani jihadist, bandits.

“Governor Soludo should focus on providing security and development to the Anambra people and stop being Abuja pleaser.

“He should demilitarize Anambra State of Boko Haram infiltrated Army. He should also disband or caution his notorious security groups such as AVG and Pillar Youths. If the Anambra State government refuses to call his notorious security groups to order, IPOB volunteers and ESN operatives would do what is necessary to keep our land and people safe.”
