Dangote Group employs more than 30,000 people, generating revenue in excess of US$4.1 billion in 2017.
In the report, 11 South African owned companies were ranked in the first eleven while Dangote took the twelfth position with a net worth of $7.3 billion.
Naspers Limited a South African owned multinational internet, technology and multimedia holding company is ranked first with a networth of$31.49 billion.
MTN Group Limited, a South African multinational corporation and mobile telecommunications provider is ranked number 7 with a net worth of $8.3 billion.
