Two persons whose identities are yet to be ascertained were on Thursday, October 19, 2023, roasted to death at Utuh junction, along the Ọnụ Soroọgụ road, Nnewi South Local Government Area of Anambra State.
Another one was also roasted at the Amannalụ Junction, Ebenator in same council area.
Residents of the area were said to have woken up in the morning to behold the three corpses in flames, burning beyond recognition at different locations.
While the identities of the corpses remained unknown at the time of filing this report, it was learnt that the deceased might have indulged in various crimes that resulted in their arrest and consequent jungle justice.
When contacted, Anambra Police Spokesperson, DSP Tochukwu Ikenga, said he was yet to be informed about the incident.
