The Office of the Secretary to theGovernmentof the Federation (OSGF) has revealed that over 40 ministers-designate successfully completed their documentation exercise on Sunday, August 20.
The documentation process officially concluded on Saturday, August 19, with more than 30 out of the 45 ministers-designate having their documentation completed, according to a source at the OSGF.
Willie Bassey, the director of information at the OSGF, in abrief update provided on Sunday, stated that the entire process has been conducted without any complications.
He added that those who have completed their documentation have also received invitation cards for up to three guests in relation to their upcoming engagements.
Bassey, who promised to provide more updates as they unfold said, “We can authoritatively inform our colleagues that as the documentation winds down today, so far we have successfully documented over forty ministers-designate.
“The process was seamless as there were four registration points and it took the Ministers less than ten minutes to complete the process. Also, invitation cards for the three guests of the Ministers-Designate were successfully given to each Minister for onward delivery to their invited guests.
“Meanwhile, arrangements have been concluded to convey them from the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation tomorrow morning at 8.00 am to the venue of the swearing-in ceremony,” he stated.(The Nation)
