Ganduje with the visiting delegation of Amalgamated APC Support Groups
The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has charged the support groups under the party to prepare for all-year-round post-election activities.
Ganduje stated this while hosting the leadership of the management team of Amalgamated APC Support Groups led by Dr. Maryam Yunusa Danjaki that paid him a courtesy visit in his office at the National Headquarters of the party in Abuja, on August 9, 2023. He emphasised that political party activities must not be limited to during party primaries or general elections alone.
The APC National Chairman said that plans were underway to engage the support groups in numerous post-election activities including organising workshops and other outdoor activities through which the support groups can effectively participate in the party programmes and other government activities as the ruling party in Nigeria.
He directed the leaders of the groups under Hajiya Maryam Yunusa Danjaki to come up with ideas and plans for immediate implementation by the party.
Earlier, in her address, the Director General of Amalgamated APC Support Groups, Hajiya Maryam Yunusa Danjaki, said the group was on a solidarity visit to congratulate Ganduje on his emergence as the National Chairman of the party.
Hajiya Danjaki expressed confidence that the coming of the new chairman would usher in a new vista of hope for the support groups and the party. She urged Dr. Ganduje to carry support groups members along by ensuring their inclusion in all government and party activities, to give them a sense of belonging.
The delegation used the occasion to offered prayers for the success of the party under the leadership of Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, and Nigeria at large.

Others included the Deputy Director, Election Monitoring, Pastor Segun Omotobora Ademola; Assistant Director, Social Services, Hajiya Hannatu Yakubu Sallamu; Deputy Director, Photography, Alhaji Aminu Yekini; Assistant Director, Protocol, Comrade Danjuma Mohammed; and National Deputy Chairman, Diaspora, Otunba Oluseyi Henry Omotosho.
