Oloso of Oso Ajowa, Oba Clement Jimoh
The Oloso of Oso Ajowa and chairman of Ajowa Traditional Council of Obas, His Royal Highness, Oba Clement Jimoh Omoola, has described the days he spent in the den of kidnappers as traumatic.
Oba Omoola spent 10 days in captivity and was released after his subjects paid N10 million ransom.
He was whisked away from his palace by the kidnappers.
Oba Omoola, who spoke Tuesday at his palace, said the traumatic experience he had inside the forest made him opt to remain silent.
Oba Jimoh said his domain was a special area, being a border town with Kogi State that is vulnerable to crimes.
He said there was a need for the government to give Ajowa special security apparatus.
He said well-to-do sons and daughters of the community have invested heavily in providing security for the town.
The monarch called for incentives to be given to local vigilante groups in the community for them to be able to complement regular security agents.
He urged land owners to register strangers working in their farmlands as directed by the Ondo State government.
