According to the State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Tochukwu Ikenga, there was no such incident in the community.
He said: “There is no such incident and it never happened because both the President General of Ogbunike Community and the Divisional Police Officer DPO has confirmed that the incident never happened.
“The command wish to state that Anambra state is the safest state in Nigeria and officers and men of the command are alive to their responsibilities.”
Ikenga called on the general public and those returning home for the festive season to feel free to go about their lawful activities without any fears or worries of insecurity.
