ASUU President, Prof Emmanuel Osodeke
Indication that the ongoing strike by university teachers would soon be called off emerged this evening of a proposed meeting of leadership of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), the governing council of universities and the vice chancellors.
The meeting it was learnt is scheduled for today, Wednesday September 14, 2022.
The Federal Government had onSeptember 6, held a meeting with the vice-chancellors, pro-chancellors and management of federal universities over the ongoing strike action by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU). (Courtesy, excluding headline, Daily Sun)
