A Dubai tourist attraction
A select group of Nigerian journalists along with their African counterparts will this weekend embark on a week-long tour of Dubai, the famed business and tourist hub of the world.
Organised by Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), the tour will see the journalists visit some of the world’s tourist wonders and attractions in Dubai. The trip is part of an ongoing outreach to Africa from Dubai with a view to sharing knowledge, ideas and experiences. You will recall that Dubai recently visited Nigeria, Ethiopia and South Africa as part of their desire to boost tourism to their city.
Among those selected for the tour scheduled to begin September 4th, is News Express Publisher Isaac Umunna, an award-winning international journalist.
Others are Idoniboyeobu Wabiye Dikio of RivExcel, Dubai Tourism’s agency in Africa, Adoyi Ali Abah ofDaily Post, and Ajayi Titus Omeiza of theVanguard.
This is the second time a media team is being sent to Dubai, the maiden tour having taken place in March 2022.
