Hard times in Nigeria today, By Mike-Nifty A.A

Nigeria as a whole nation is in a deep mess, shambles and shackles of life that only the Almighty and living God can come down from heaven to stabilize her back to normal; or Jesus Christ can come again in human form to restore all Nigeria’s lost Glory because the way everything development in Nigeria is deteriorating, one would think, maybe, the world is about to end tomorrow and when tomorrow comes you will say maybe it’s another tomorrow.

Nigeria has always been in hardship ever since I was born and started researching, by hard study, never saw where it was ever smooth for her till date. And we are still unsure of what tomorrow holds and the school teachers keep lying to their respective students that the children are the leaders of tomorrow; when their ancestors are still ruling them or where older yahoo boys have all started running for strategic political offices.

Concomitantly, everything bad is happening at the same time whereby different lamentations, most especially, from the bonafide citizens living in the rural areas of the country. In my own personal feasibility studies, moving across the geo-political zones to know what or how an average Nigerian feels about the current state she's found herself in, ranging from insecurity to banditry, terrorism, kidnapping, hyper-galloping-inflation, etcetera etcetera.

Today, fuel is as expensive as a diamond and it is overtly scarce such that only the high class of the Nigerian society can afford it. Every other human on the low living in Nigeria is living in hazardous poverty and the rate never stops increasing because of the sporadic shoot in overpopulation amongst them and they keep increasing the poverty rate by sporadically having multiple children to keep worsening the poverty situation. How can an African giant be living from hand-to-mouth at her age and she will pose superiority to other African nations, most especially her neighboring countries that he's always their big brother; yet an average citizen cannot earn at least $100 in a week or month as a minimum wage which will forever be pathetically sad a situation for such a country that is as old as 62 years as at today.

Should we talk about sport for a seconds or there are more lingering issues that are on the to-do list to be dealt with or talked about? Or we should ignore. A supposedly 'Giant of Africa', cannot qualify for the maiden edition of the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar because of the corruption thriving in the sports sector of the country.

That the Sports Ministry that cannot select the best of the best amongst over 200 million people is a terrible situation that I don’t ever want to talk about it.

The FIFA world cup alone would trigger a solid relationship with Qatar and the rest of the world because of their presence there bilaterally; but yet a small Ghana will keep developing herself in all ramifications of life and we will continue to send our children over there to go and study and even our University system is substandard.

I will forever be proud of my dear nation Nigeria because I emanated from her and also I will forever continue to pray for her personally till hopes of over 200 million can be fully restored with confidence. God bless my country Nigeria, God bless her people scattered globally. AMEN.
