The immediate past Governor of Delta State, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, Saturday, said posterity will judge the 16 years he has been in politics in Delta State.

Dr. Uduaghan, who was speaking at the thanksgiving service at First Baptist Church, Warri, said he had seen much for the past 16 years he has been in government, noting that what he did in the 16 years or did not do would be left for posterity to decide.

Uduaghan thanked all Deltans for standing by him throughout the years, just as he appealed to all Deltans to support Okowa’s administration as they did to him.

He said governing a state needed the cooperation of all citizens as there are so many daunting challenges that needed the support of all citizens to overcome.

He said that on his part he will continue to pray for the new government, noting that he will always be available whenever he is needed for advice on issues of administration and others.

He called on Deltans not spread rumour in the state, saying rumour mongering has been a part of people’s lives in the state.

He thanked traditional rulers, his political friends for their strong support for him for the past 16 years, noting that in spite of all that had happened when he was out of office for two months, they still came out to support to finish his tenure.
