Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, has described his immediate predecessor, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan, as a man of humility who also gives thanks to God in all situations.
Governor Okowa stated this Saturday at the family thanksgiving service in honour of Uduaghan, at First Baptist Church, Warri, Delta State.
Okowa noted that Deltans should stand up to appreciate God at every moment, saying that it is important to give God thanks and praises at all times and asserted that the Finger of God initiated by the past governor as the symbol of the state still stands.
He said that the symbol of Delta State will continue to lead Deltans to greatness.
Dr. Okowa commended the former governor for the legacy he left behind, saying that he encouraged Deltans to always praise God at all times.
He said that irrespective of what other people will say, what is important is that a precedent has been established that Delta is for God.
