The Northern Youth Council has showered encomiums on eminent lawyer and activist, Mr. Ebun-Olu Adegboruwa, Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), “for his giant strides, and for his numerous contributions to the legal profession.”

The group, led by Barrister Faruk Mohammed, paid the glowing tribute when its principal officers paid Adgboruwa, the Principal Counsel, Adegboruwa and Company, a courtesy call at his office in Lagos on Thursday, August 13, 2020.

The courtesy visit climaxed with the presentation of the award of ‘Amini Matasan Arewa Najeriya’ (Ally of Northern Nigeria) on Adegboruwa.

The Council expressed satisfaction with Adegboruwa’s “visionary, vibrant, articulated and courageous service to mankind,” while also stressing that his mentorship of the younger generation and his humanitarian Service is worthy of emulation.

While commending the sacrifices made by the group, the learned silk commended the effort of the Council, noting that they “belong to the same constituency, which is the consistency of the common masses of Nigeria.”

He pledged to support the organisation in the realisation of the aims and objectives of the Council while also thanking them for finding him worthy of the honour conferred on him as ‘Amini Matasan Arewa Najeriya’.
