Late Stephen Keshi
Nigerian football manager and former Eagles midfielder, Sunday Ogochukwu Oliseh on Sunday poured encomiums on the late former national team Captain turned coach, Stephen Okechukwu Keshi.
Sunday, June 7 marked four years when Keshi died at age 54 in Benin, capital of Edo State.
Oliseh decided to remind football lovers of the exploits of the former ace defender and his service to the nation, locally and internationally, during his active years before his death.
Oliseh tweeted: “4 years ago today, we lost 1 of Africa’s greatest legends, Stephen Keshi. AFCON winning captain player & coach, qualified Togo & Nigeria to World Cups, 2nd round 2014 World Cup coach & an exceptional leader. Lets celebrate this great man. ‘Coachitto Skippo’ we miss you. R.I.P big bro!”
