Nigeria’s celebrities led the pack as they adorned real African outfits and proudly displayed same on their various social media handles.

The veteran Nollywood star first appeared in an orange long gown complimented with gold top and an orange headgear to match.
In her second outing, she dazzled in a well knitted green Ankara spiced with maroon stripes and a head tie to match.
Zubby Michael
The cool-headed actor shun in a long stretched red kingly gown, a black net top that dropped beyond his knees, a red cap to match lined with gold, and a traditional red coloured neck beads. He successfully cut a picture of an African King.
Mercy Aigbe
Still basking in the success of her new movie 77 Bullets, Mercy adorned a long dress that dropped to her feet with multi-colour flowery designs. The beautiful design stretched to her hands like an angel’s wings.
Ufuoma McDermott
This diminutive actress went all out to cut a video clip of her rocking some fantastic designs made by Nigerian designers and dancing to the evergreen tune Patapata by Mariam Makeeba popularly referred to as Mama Africa. She promised to display more clothes and bags later.
Uche Jombo
The hardworking veteran actress and movie producer dazzled in a light blue, near transparent dress with full embroidery in brown, topped with long dropping earrings of original African design.
Uche Ogbodo
The jolly good actress adorned studded (or stoned) Iru and Buba from head to toe complete with a white necklace and a portable milk coloured purse as she magnificently sat on a queen’s thrown, typical of an African Queen.
