Veteran actor, Anayo Modestus Onyekwere, popularly known as Kanayo O. Kanayo (KOK) has announced his intention to provide some goodies to his fans.

The 58-year-old Mbaise, Imo State-born United Nations Ambassador and Member of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (MFR) made the offer some days back in a video clip which he posted on his Instagram page.

The prolific actor, who was on the cast of the hit movie that kick-started what is now known as Nollywood in 1992, Living in Bondage, however said his palliative which is in cash, will be given only to some of his fans to be selected from his three hundred and five thousand followers (305,000) on Instagram.

“Hello friends, the lockdown is getting really tough, I understand and I share in your pains. Whatever I have to share for your faithfulness in terms of followership over the years, I will just give a little relief to some of my followers by way of selection. So please send your account details to the comments section. Thank you very much, and I appreciate you,” he announced.

Earlier he had expressed pity for his fans when he asserted that Nigerians are fighting two pandemics: COVID-19 and what he termed hunger virus.

“We (Nigerians are fighting two pandemics – Coronavirus and Hunger virus” he said.And asked: “Which do you think is more dangerous?”

So fans, you now know that the only way to benefit from KOK’s palliative is to follow him on Instagram. But whether or not you will be selected after following him is left for “Professor Johnbull” to decide.
