The controversy surrounding the emergence of the 5G technology does not look like it will go soon.

People from all walks of life have been lending their voices on the dangers or otherwise of the telecommunication adventure. Nigeria’s entertainers are not left behind.

Much as telecom experts have come out to debunk the fears about 5G, some people would not just bulge. They believe very strongly that 5G is enemy of humanity.

At the forefront of this set of protesters are some Nigerian movie stars.

Veteran actor and former national president of Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) Emeka Ike posted on his Instagram page on Monday, “Nigerians get ready for 5G. Death is switch around the corner.”

Referring to a trending video against the new technology, he asked: “Are we really plagued with coronavirus or 5G technology? Watch this video carefully and be the judge. Dooms day in sight. Jesus is coming soon. Global controversy?”

On her own part, actress turned preacher, Eucharia Anunobi wrote: “Man is man’s enemy (Ephesians 6:12). Have you read the above scripture? ... You might not want to believe it, but life is never going to be business as usual henceforth. The whole essence of the quarantine is to install the 5G which is lethal and disastrous to the human race as we have seen so far.”

Continuing, the English graduate from the University of Nigeria Nsukka wrote: “Drying out the very essence of life to each and every one that comes in contact with the radiation, leaving them no time to think because such a person will be battling for breath.

“The radiation fries out all living cells in the body (all the isolation centers are prepared for those who will be hit by the radiation not the virus as has been touted all along)

“The call for us to give our lives to God is to ensure one does not suffer here on earth, having not repented and thereafter continues to suffer the worst damnation, which is eternal separation from God in hell. Jesus is calling you now (Revelation 3: 20)”
