Award-winning actress Halima Abubakar
Following the order to shutdown Lagos, Ogun and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) from Monday night as a result of coronavirus, multiple award-winning actress and producer, Halima Abubakar has thrown a challenge to President Muhammadu Buhari on behalf of homeless Nigerians.
The 35 years old Kogi State-born Sociology graduate from Bayero University, Kano, in a post on the social media some hours after the presidential address to the nation on Sunday evening wrote: “I wonder where those people who have no place to sleep will be. I wonder if government is making provision for them. I know it’s a difficult time, but please provide homes for them. They need a home too. We all matter.”
Will the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria do Halima’s bidding? The answer my friend, is blowing in the wind.
