Tambuwal takes over as chairman PDP Governors Forum

Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto has been appointed as the chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governors’ forum. Tambuwal’s appointment came on Monday, January 27, as the tenure of his predecessor, Governor Seriake Dickson of Bayelsa will end on Monday, February 3.

According to Tambuwal’s special adviser on media, Mohammad Bello, his appointment was done in Abuja during the PDP’s National Executive Council (NEC) at the party’s national secretariat. (Agency report)
