Member, House of Representatives representing Ikeja Federal Constituency and Chairman, House Committee on Finance, Hon James Faleke, has concluded plans to grace the second term inauguration ceremony of Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello.
Gov. Bello had invited his erstwhile estranged political foe, Hon James Abiodun Faleke, to his second term inauguration ceremony which comes up on January 27, 2020.
The invitation letter was released by Faleke on his WhatsApp platform while notifying stakeholders of the party and the Audu/Faleke political family of the governor's invitation.
Hon James Faleke, who had sheath his sword and put all issues aside; rigorously campaigned for the re-election of Governor Bello in the last November 16 governorship election.
Faleke had thrown his weight and influence across the state in the 2019 Kogi governorship election behind Bello and his party, the All Progressive Congress (APC) which in turn earned the party and governor, an unexpected victory in the election.
Governor Bello’s decision to officially invite Hon. Faleke to his second term swearing-in, was described as a show of gratitude by the Governor to the member of the green chamber.
A reliable source however said that the mutual relationship cum understanding that currently exist between the duo, may lead to the fulfillment of the governor’s pledge of a rotational government in Kogi State.
Speculators are however of the opinion that Hon James Abiodun Faleke will have an easy ride to becoming the next governor of Kogi State this time.
