Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo state on Sunday declared that he is not worried about the forthcoming governorship election in the state saying it has already been settled by the people of the state who have promised him continuity in office.

Speaking during a well-attended Town Hall meeting of Edo State people in Lagos, held at Billingsway in Oregun Ikeja area of Lagos State, Obaseki said he is confident about his re-election because he has delivered on what the people of the state need and his focus now is to better the life of the people of the state and not his reelection.

He said his focus at the moment is about the development in Edo state and how to live a better state for future generations in the state. (Daily Independent)
