Adamawa State Governor, Bala James Ngillari, has confirmed the recapture of Mubi town by local hunters.

Boko Haram insurgents took over and occupied Mubi in Adamawa State, which is the second largest town in the state almost two weeks ago.

Local hunters, however, recaptured today, according to Governor Ngilari.

A breaking news just flashed by the online edition of Daily Trust quoted Ngilari as saying during an inspection tour of relief materials provided by the Federal Government for the displaced persons in Yola: “The insurgents have been flushed out of Mubi and are on the run.”
