Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Enugu State, on Fridday lauded President Muhammadu Buhari for re-nominating Mr. Geoffrey Onyeama as a minister.

 Buhari had on Tuesday sent his ministerial list to the Senate, with Onyeama as one of the few ministers who made a return.

 In a joint statement they issued after a meeting in Enugu, the stakeholders who are all members of the Kwusike Political Family, said the ministerial list as submitted by the President would be a sure way to taking the country to the next level.

 The statement was signed by Hon Ejike Njeze, Comrade Adolphus Ude, Lolo Nwankwo, Tony Ibekwe, E.L Aja, Engr. Obed Chidera Eneh, Hon. Ginika Tor and Nwakaego Madubuaku.

 They specifically lauded Buhari for finding their son, Onyeama worthy to serve in his about to be formed cabinet.

“We heartily thank President Muhammad Buhari (GCFR) for recognising performance and finding it worthy to re-appoint our incorruptible and illustrious Son of Enugu West, Hon Geoffrey Onyeama as a minister in his new Cabinet. 

 "Mr. President has by this singular act endeared himself more to the good people of Enugu State and the party members who believe in rewarding loyalty and excellence. 

 "We wish to reassure Mr President that this reappointment is not in any way misplaced but is very much in line with the wishes of all well meaning members of Enugu APC.

 "We have no doubt that our son, Mr. Onyeama would go all the way in contributing his quota towards the realization of Mr. President’s Next Level Agenda.

 "The crack team assembled by Mr. President met the aspirations and expectations of well meaning Nigerians and we are pretty sure that they will deliver,” the group stated.
