A friend of mine who just visited Aba said that the state of some of the roads in Aba is so bad that some traders in Aba now have to move their wares to Port Harcourt and Onitsha so that their customers can get to them.

This is not acceptable.

If the drainage problem in Aba requires pulling down of existing structures to solve this problem so be it.

If the state needs to borrow money to deal with compensations then it should do so.

Politics should not be the focus here. Law abiding citizens deserve to move around and carry out their businesses without problems especially when the problems are man made problems that can be solved by man.

NB: Just before you say ehen, sebi you were complaining when we were saying the Abia state governor didn’t do anything in Abia state just remember that my position has not changed because I have never debated Aba with anyone. Only this time, someone explained the difficulties some people are facing in Aba due to the bad roads resulting from poor drainage system in Aba.
