CTA Acting Executive Director, Faith Nwadishi
As part of moves to improve future electoral processes, election observer group, the Centre for Transparency Advocacy (CTA), plans to hold a two-day parley with chairmen of political parties in the country to review the outcome of the recently concluded 2019 general election.
The meeting which is expected to hold on Monday, will review the role critical stakeholders played in the 2019 elections.
The 2-day round table, according to a statement by CTA Acting Executive Director, Ms Faith Nwadishi, will also review the role played by the electoral umpire, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and the political parties in the electoral process.
It would be recalled that the observer group, last week, unveiled its report on the 2019 elections.
Nwadishi said the Monday parley is to ensure that the nation's electoral process is further strengthened.
Immediate past Vice President of Sierra Leone, Alhaji Sam Sumana, as well as other top dignitaries such as Inter-Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) National Chairman, Chief Peters Ameh, are expected to grace the occasion.
