Anambra born politician and international business man, Hon. Obinna Igboebisi, has received Man of Integrity Award from an organization, the name of which is the Nigeria Women of Integrity.

The award was given to him in Abuja on August 1, 2026 when the organization held its award presentation and National Convention, the theme of which was: Women in politics (merits and demerits).

Igboebisi, who is an NDC chieftain in Anambra state, is one of the three Obosi-born politicians, who received the award, the others being Engr. Eric Anyamene, an NDC political stalwart; and Chimezie Obi, the President General of the Obosi Development Union (ODU).

The award given to Hon. Igboebisi was in appreciation of his communal leadership and the invaluable contributions he has made to societal development, especially in the area of fixing decrepit school buildings in Obosi town and beyond.

Speaking to this journalist about the award, Hon. Igboebisi said that he was happy for being a recipient of the award and thanked the organizers of the award presentation for finding him worthy of being a recipient of the Man of Integrity Award.

He said that the award given to him would spur him to continue contributing his quota to the development of Nigeria.

“This award given to me has motivated me to up my ante in the area of community service, leadership, and philanthropic works.

“I will continue to provide leadership to my people to ensure that our tumbledown schools’ buildings are repaired; and that young people, who are from under-privileged homes, are empowered with skills and money,” Igboebisi said.
