Super Eagles set to vanquish Congolese Devils in Nations Cup qualifier

Godfrey Oboabona and Ahmed Musa have said Nigeria will beat Congo this evening to get their 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign off to a winning start.

Rizespor of Turkey defender Oboabona said the spirit in the Super Eagles camp is great and it is a good omen of better things to come as the team warm up to take on the Red Devils.

“We are doing great ahead of the game against Congo and with the spirit in camp, I don’t see Congo stopping us,” MTNFootball quoted Oboabona as saying.

CSKA Moscow forward Ahmed Musa further vowed the Eagles are ready to secure the three points at stake at UJ Esuene Stadium in Calabar.

“We have been preparing hard for the match and we are good to go and get the victory,” he assured, adding:

“We are superior to the opponents looking at our previous meetings and we are out to continue that dominance over them come Saturday with a win.”
