National Conference adjourns over death of Chairman’s wife

The National Conference sitting in Abuja has abruptly adjourned following the news of the death of the wife of the Chairman, retired Justice Idris Kutigi.

The 70 years old Mrs. Maryam Kutigi, who had been sick and in hospital, reportedly died last night. Conference delegates were this morning informed that she would be buried later today after prayers at the National Mosque in Abuja.

The Conference resumes next week Monday, June 2.
