NO GOING BACK!: Ezekwesili, #BringBackOurGirls coalition to storm Aso Rock this afternoon

Former Minister of Education, Dr. Oby Ezekwesili, is set to make good her threat to lead the #BringBackOurGirls coalition on a march to the Presidential Villa, Aso Rock Villa, Abuja, to demand the rescue of the over 200 students of Government Girls Secondary School, Chibok, abducted by Boko Haram terrorists on April 14.

Neither the Presidency nor the Police has approved the march and no such activity is known to have ever taken place at the Nigerian seat of power, the photo of which is not even allowed to be taken or published.

Calling the bluff of Abuja police chief Joseph Mbu, who has warned the coalition to call off the proposed march, Ezekwesili and other coalition leaders have been busy mobilising members for the historic event.

They insist that they do not need police permission for the march but only need to inform the police in expectation for protection during the protest.

“We unanimously decide to proceed to Aso Rock, “Ezekwesisli tweeted. “WE GO TO OUR PRESIDENT and WILL NOT be stopped!”

In another tweet she announced: “Details of march to d President: Date: Thurs, May22 Meeting Point: Unity Fountain Time: 2.30pm Dress Code: Red #BringBackOurGirls @obyezeks.”

The protesters are scheduled to set out for the Presidential Villa by 3pm.
