“President Jonathan extends his heartfelt condolences to bereaved families. President Jonathan directs the medical services to do their very best to save the lives of those injured in Nyanya bombing,” Abati further said.
Jonathan has cancelled a scheduled trip to Ibadan, Oyo State, as a result of the tragic incident.
About 50 persons are feared dead and over 100 injured in the explosion which occurred around 7am when a vehicle laden with Improvised Explosive Device (IED) exploded in the busy Nyanya bus stop where commuters board government-operated luxury buses.
