Pictured: Reception for TA Orji ends in tragedy: Man shot dead allegedly on Governor’s son’s orders

The man you see lying dead and in a pool of his blood is Mr. John Ndubuka, a relative of Abia State Governor, Chief TA (Theodore Ahamefule) Orji. He was shot dead while leaving at the venue of a civic reception organised yesterday by Ikwuano/Umuahia people for the governor.

Reports have it that Mr. John Ndubuka met his untimely and tragic death following a misunderstanding with Chief Chinedu Orji, the first son of Governor Orji.

Chinedu in a fit of anger reportedly ordered his orderly to shoot the man, and the orderly obliged.

The Abia State Governor has confirmed Ndukuba’s death by shooting but exonerated Chinedu, who is known for his temperamental nature and had in the past attracted negative publicity for his brutality.
