Abia governor's son bags title

Chief Chinedu Orji, son of Governor Theodore Orji of Abia State, South-East Nigeria,

Has a new feather on his cap.

This is courtesy of royal fathers from Osisioma Local Government Area of the state who honoured him with the chieftaincy title of Enyioha I of Osisioma. Enyioha means “friend of the people.”

Chinedu, an Engineer, bagged the title when his Ochendo Youth Foundation (OYF) train stopped over at Osisioma to offload its goodies for youths of the area.

Chairman of Osisioma Traditional Rulers Council, Eze Ikechi Chiavoghlefu, with the assistance of other monarchs, conferred the title on Chinedu, in his palace last Saturday.

The royal fathers said they were impressed with the novel youth empowerment programme floated by the governor’s son which they described as an antidote to anti-social behaviours by youths, particularly armed robbery.

They urged Chinedu to continue with the good gesture of making Abia youths good citizens.

The Founder and Promoter of the OYF had explained at similar fora in Aba and Ohafia that the OYF youth empowerment programme was aimed at making Abia youths to be gainfully employed as well as become self-reliant.

A visibly happy Chinedu thanked the royal fathers for the honour and pledged to continue with the humanitarian work of OYF.
