Lazio extended their unbeaten start to the Italian Serie A season with a commanding 3-0 away victory over Juventus on Sunday in matchday seven, moving level on points with league leaders Inter Milan.
Juventus thought they had taken the lead in the 24th minute when Randal Kolo Muani fired home from close range, but the goal was ruled out for offside.
Lazio broke the deadlock in the 37th minute when Oliver Provstgaard rose highest to head home captain Mattia Zaccagni's cross following a corner.
The visitors nearly doubled their advantage seven minutes later when Nuno Tavares' curling effort struck the crossbar, with Juventus goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario unable to reach the ball.
Juventus, whose head coach Luciano Spalletti was serving a touchline suspension, introduced Nick Woltemade at halftime to strengthen their attack.
The German striker came close to equalizing in the 55th minute, sending a right-footed effort narrowly wide after being picked out by Kolo Muani.
Despite increasing pressure from the hosts, Lazio doubled their lead in the 66th minute when Gustav Isaksen cut inside from the left flank before curling a left-footed shot into the far bottom corner.
Kolo Muani wasted another opportunity in the 82nd minute, heading over the crossbar from close range after Woltemade's delivery.
Substitute Fisayo Dele-Bashiru completed the scoring in the 89th minute, driving into the penalty area before firing a low shot across goal to seal the visitors' victory.
The result lifted Gennaro Gattuso's side to 19 points from seven matches, level with leaders Inter, while Juventus remained eighth with 11 points. (AA)
