Ogunwuyi announced his resignation in a letter dated Oct. 12, which was made available to newsmen on Monday in Ibadan.
He expressed gratitude to the governor for the opportunity to serve the state.
He described his service to the current administration and the people of the state as a great honour, saying it had been fulfilling to be part of the exceptional team.
Ogunwuyi added that he remained proud of the administration’s collective efforts to advance the growth, development and prosperity of the state.
He expressed his highest esteem for the governor and reaffirmed his loyalty to Oyo State and the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Meanwhile, Governor Makinde has appointed Mr Akinwale Akinwole, (a.k.a Wolekanle), as his new Chief of Staff,
Makinde also appointed Mrs Aderonke Adedayo, as his Special Adviser on General Intervention and Donor Agencies, as Director-General of the Due Process Office.
The appointments were announced in letters signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Musibau Babatunde, on Monday.
Akinwole, a grassroots politician, previously served as Chairman of the Oyo State Local Government Service Commission.
Adedayo will combine her new responsibilities as Director-General of the Due Process Office with her existing role as Special Adviser on General Intervention and Donor Agencies.
