The shortlist for the 2026 Ballon d’Or has been announced, with football’s biggest individual awards set to recognise outstanding performances and achievements during the 2025/26 season.
The organisers announced the nominees via their official X account on Tuesday.
The 2026 edition marks the 70th year of the Ballon d’Or, with nominees revealed across several categories, including the Men’s and Women’s awards, Striker of the Year, Young Player, Goalkeeper, Club and Coach of the Year.
The awards will honour players, coaches and clubs who made a significant impact during the 2025/26 campaign.
